U gotta drill a hole in the firewall. The wall between the engine and the car interior. THen seal up the hole with some rubber so u dont get unwanted engine noise.

Answer is drill a hole in the firewall for the 12 Volt supply. then run the 12 volt down one side of the car and the audio from the head unit down the other to avoid interference.
Help with 1995 Chevy Suburban Audio Wiring?
HiGetting power to the amp in a car is usually the tricky bit.
You will need to run some heavy gauge cable from the battery +ve terminal through the bulkhead into the cabin of the car. Then on to where you are fitting the amp. You will have to connect to the battery via a fuse and carrier.
The -ve connection is made using a short piece of cable from the amp to the chassis with a bolt on connector.
what ever you do you will have to pull the trim about on the inside of the car.
To find out where to take the +ve feed through the bulkhead look for wiring going through a rubber bung. Then using a stiff piece of wire or nylon/plastic cord push through from the engine bay to the inside of the car, tape the end of the power lead to the wire and draw it back through the bulkhead. Then pull enough to reach the battery. Avoid running the wire close to hot exhausts or moving bits as these will damage the wire.

Wierd stereo problem PLEASE HELP ME!!?
WOW! No one has mentioned using a grommet . After you drill the hole, put a rubber grommet where the wire can slip through. This will protect the wire from being cut in to.new Dual XDM7510 dash radio not working properly (no sound)?
Feed the wire from within the car to the engine compartment as this is a shorter pull than the other way around.

The fuse should be the sum of all fuses on the amp and should be located no more than 18" from the battery.

"run the 12 volt down one side of the car and the audio from the head unit down the other to avoid interference" is a load of crock. A 1 foot separation is ample enough. Using well shielded RCA cables and you can run them together.

answered your question on the cable. what you do is you run your positive from your battery to the amp. this is a little tricky to do all the carpet is easily ripped up by pulling off the door seals and there are some little metal clips holding the carpet down. you can get the cable around the rear seats and into your boot by sliding a pipe or something small down the side under the plastic so that you can pull the cables through. you get the cable through the bulk head as i have described in your other question. for the negative all you need to do is run a cable from the negative terminal on your amp to a suitable ground. i found on my 106 the best place is to attach it to the ground on one of the rear light clusters. this can be done by pulling off the little plastic cover in the boot. the phono leads and the remote leads are installed in exactly the same way as the positive cable. but make certain that you run the phon leads on the oposite side of the car to the remote lead and positive cable. this is to prevent interferance. the tricky bit is getting the phono and remote leads up to the stereo. if you get right under your dash there is a small passage that goes up from where your floor/feet heater outlets are all the way up to the back of the stereo. it is quite fiddly but you will get it eventually.
