not sure what a boot is but regardless you will need fiberglass resin and cloth mat fibermat also some spandex if you want the 3d efx. mixing the resin with the hardner and applying it to the mat is all you need to do it will setup and be dry smooth with bondo and your golden fiberglass is very easy to work with. if your going for strength you need the fiberglass matte. for cosmetic touch ups body panels and custom work you will need the fiberglass cloth or spandex. when applying the resin you need to make sure the matte is completly saturated and free of air bubbles and you need to work quick between 5-10 minutes before the resin starts to set
