Question:
My car only has a CD player and I really don't buy CDs anymore. I buy all my music from iTunes. Does anyone know if you can burn iTunes songs to CD? (I'm asking b/c idk if there would be copyright problems.) Or maybe someone knows if it is possible to get a connection for my iPod put into my car. If so, is it really expensive?? Has anyone here had that done? If so, please tell me how you like it. Thanks guys!

iTunes does limit what can be burned to CD. But even if you could burn the songs, suddenly you're carrying around all of these CD's - it'll be like the 90's all over again! If you have an older car and installing an auxillary port into your car is too expensive (Most new cars have this port. Using a wire bought for about $3 at Best Buy, one end is plugged into the iPod ear phone port and the other into the car aux. port, set the radio for "aux" mode and then select songs on the iPod to play through the car radio), you can buy iPod FM transmitter. Some of these transmitters plug into the cigar lighter to provide power to the transmitter and to recharge the iPod, some run on a battery and some use the iPod for power. Be sure to get the one that works for your lifestyle and vehicle (i.e., if you drive a lot, a battery or iPod charged device might not be for you; alternatively, if you have no cigar lighter in your car, then clearly this type isn't for you). Set the same station on the transmitter and radio (usually to something like 89.1 FM). Then play a song on your iPod. The transmitter sends a signal to your car's antenna to play the iPod songs. There are a variety of these FM transmitters out there, ranging from $40 to about $100. They aren't as good as directly connecting your iPod to your car, but they are fairly inexpensive and allow you to play songs without burning and then carrying around CD's.

I provided and Amazon.com link below, but there are plenty of these FM transmitters. Look at Apple's site (for an iTrip) as well as Best Buy or Circuit City.
