Is it better to have your Subs facing your backseat or your trunk?

trunk. They HAVE to face the trunk, anyone running them the other way is not getting the biggest bass response they can. You will hear more bass when they face away from you (out the rear), than if they faced you (towards the front of the car)

The ones made to go behind the seats of a truck with no back seat face front. My faces rear, but that is because it is in a bandpass which actually ports the sound out the back. Might depend if your trunk is open or not. I also leave one of the back seats down so the sound isn't blocked.
