Insignia Amps and Subs?

A mono amp is a single channel amplifier. Used mainly for running sub(s). A two channel amp you can run two speakers in stereo mode by using both channels. Or you can combine the two channels together known as bridge mode which would be the same as a mono amplifier. And a muliti channel amp is an amp with 4 or more channels. A four channel amp is mainly used for running mid range speakers. Two channels for fronts and two for the rears. You can also get six channel amps. These are made for running an entire audio system, you would use channels 1,2 for your front speakers and use channels 3,4 for your rear speakers, and you would use channels 5,6 for your subwoofers or you could combine channels 5,6 in bridge (mono) mode and run on big subwoofer. Hope this helps.
