the american bass dx 10 and dx 12,
the jl w0 - w3 are also a good sugg.
all these work nicely in small enclosures
my personal favorite is three hifonics brutus 10" subs with the bxi2006d these subs will work in .4 of a cu ft and will handle 500rms a piece but you have to be careful with the depth.

None. Don't be poor white trash, please.It depends, I have a 1994 reg cab 1500. It is such a small space for a sub. I had a MTX 12 in a crappy box, and it sounded really good inside, but you couldn't hear the bass outside. But I didn't have a really good set up. my amp is really too powerful for one sub. I have a 2200wt PPI amp. and the problem we run into there is the cab starts to act like a box its self. However I had a buddy that had a 91' silverado reg cab and he had 3 JL Audio 10s and the bass would rattle your eyeballs in your head. So I think that might be a something to look into. but a good thing to remember is the speaker box is really important. A well built box is a major factor in gettin the most out of a sub.
