Question:
I am replacing some cheap 6.5's in my jeep cherokee and while looking for speakers i have noticed hifonics have a pretty high rms rating on there speakers and component sets. I am getting an amp that put out 100wrms each channel and it has 4 channels. My question is are hifonics speakers or component sets good for the money or would you suggest something else. I would prefer to pay less than $100 per set of speakers. And i am leaning in the direction of a component set. Thanks

New car has vdo stereo with a cd changer, can't see a cd button so how do i get cd's to play?
Hifonics is good reliable quality. When it comes to their speakers they are good. They are not the best ever but they are good.
How much power is each voice coil getting?
But on my opinion you should go for a component set of speakers. It will sound better because the tweeter is separate from the speaker which will make the tweeter sound more crisp.
The down side of component speakers though is that you will need more speaker wire and it will take more work. Not to mention that you will need to find somewhere to mount the crossovers (small box that divides the sounds for speaker and tweeter).
How do i stop buzzing noise coming from my ports?
But if you are aware of those things than it shouldn't be a problem. But if you aren't looking for that extra work than stick with the hifonics. They are good speakers.
Kenwood or Goodmans Cd. Player ??
Since Hifonics amps are CEA-2006 compliant, I'd have to give them a thumbs up.More Questions & Answers ...
