My dodge neon factory radio isnt working properly?

Question:
When you turn the radio on it blasts (just when you turn the knob to the lowest on position) and its only coming from the back also the display isnt working or any of the buttons. Any one have an idea what caused this or how to fix it? Its a 97 dodge neon factory casset radio

there really isn't much you can do other than replace it. you could call up a local salvage yard, and get a used one, you could also go to a dealer, and pay wayyyy to much for a new one, or just get a new aftermarket deck.
