I get very low sound from my Pioneer 12 CD Changer?

Question:
I didn't use it for about a month because I had to transfer it to my other car. when I finally installed it, I get very little sound. Volume from receiver is at maximum. I get no error messages. It can read out the CD's. Do you think it has something to do with the lenses dirty?

Answers:

Can you use a monoblock amp to power stereo speakers (not sub)?

cleaning of lenses can solve the problem. if it persists get it caliberated/tuned.if you are aware of mechanism you can do yourself with the help of watch screw driver and save money.

Car system?

maybe the power supply to the cd player isn't enough to produce sound. maybe your new car's power is lower than your first car.

or maybe there is some mistake while installing the cd player. The power or the speaker cable does'nt connect properly
