Question:
I just started driving my dad's '94 Ford Club Wagon and I have never bought speakers before. I was wondering what kind of sound system would sound the best in a vehicle with so much space. I don't know anything about sound systems so an in-depth explanation would be very helpful.

I bought a 10" cerwin vega stoker that is 4000 watts max and 2000 rms. what amp do i need?
Well if you are looking for a "full" audio system than that means your looking for everything from the HU (head unit) to the subwoofers.Since the car is '94, that means it might not have a cd player. And if it does than it probably sucks. So you will want to upgrade that to a more modern HU.
Why doesn't my car stereo have sound anymore?
Than after upgrading that you will want to buy yourself some good speakers. There are hundreds of kinds of speakers out there so you will want to do some research. You can also buy an amp for your speakers if your willing to take it that far.
After you have taken care of your speakers and HU you will want to look into a subwoofer system. This includes your sub(s), a box, a car battery, an amp, amp wiring, and a capacitor if you want.
And if you want to go all the way. Get yourself some video.
Should I use a Ported or Sealed box for a 13W7 in a Hatchback Honda Civic?
Absolutely none of the components need to match brands but you will have to do matching of the specs. It take some research so you might not figure it all out in a couple of days.
to go into full detail and explain each thing of a full sound system will be way too long to write on here, so you will also want to ask LOTS of questions.
