Can an Orion P10D2 and Orion P10D4 both be wired to a Kenwood KAC-9102D at the same time without harming amp?

Question:
I have two 10" Orion P10D2 subs right now, but I'm pretty sure one is blown because I bought them used and all it does is crackle, with barely any cone movement. Connections were already tested, and so has the amp. So I bought a replacement Orion P10D4 off Ebay, but failed to notice that it was a different impendance until I compared it to the old one. Both of these subs are extremely hard to find because they are older models, so I wanted to see if I can still use the dual 4 ohm along with the dual 2 ohm, and have them wired to have the same load on the amp? I'm not positive on the stability of the amp, but it's a Kenwood KAC-9102D. Thanks for any help.

how to connect a 4ohm subwoofer with an amp?

First, I dont think anyone would really recommend you to put two different ohm loads on your amp. It's not going to hurt it necessarily but it's not healthy for it either.

You stated you wanted to make what you have work. Here's what to do:

Is there a Car FM Antenna booster?

Per Kenwood, your amp is stable at 2ohms and will put out 850watts RMS. The lowest ohm load you can get within the stable range of the amp (meaning without being lower than 2ohms) is 2.67ohms. This will let you get most of that 850watts. To do this, wire the voice coils of both subs in series. Then wire both speakers in parallel.

Speakers In my Trunk?

Run speaker wire (a small amount is needed) from the positive terminal of one voice coil of the sub to the negative terminal of the other voice coil. Then run speaker wire from the remaining positive and negative terminals of one sub to the remaining positive and negative terminals of the other sub, which also should have its voice coils wired the same way in series.

i need to know What size to put into my bandpass box? speaker bass reflex - tuning port specs?

What this will do is make the D2 sub 4 ohms and the D4 sub 8ohms. When you wire them in parallel from this point, you would get a 2.67ohm load. Which is stable for the amp.

i installed an amp and a sub in my car today, but i couldn't get the amp to power on. help needed.?

There are several other ways of wiring these, eight altogether that I found. Some result in an ohm load as high as 12 ohms and some as low as 0.67 ohms. Just shy of the 2ohm cut off is a configuration for 1.33 ohms. This requires that you wire the D2 sub in series, the D4 sub in parallel and then both subs in parallel. The closest thing to a four ohm load that I could find is 3ohms: voice coils of each sub wired in parallel and then both speakers wired in series. Overall, the first thing I described above that gives 2.67 ohms is your best bet.
