Ok well i got a 12 volt toggle switch the lights up. The interior of a car need to look nice. I need to hook it up to my 800 watt kenwood amp.I was trying to hook it using the rem wire and hoped that it would still light up but nothing. The swith works but nothing. Can anyone help me?

The switch may have three connections with a symbol next to each. The + needs to wired to constant power (use a 1 amp fuse), the symbol that looks like an upside down pine tree with horizontal lines needs to wired to ground and the last terminal is the control to be wired to the REM.Why am i having so much difficulty wiring my cd deck?
