Stereo completely dies?

Do I need to have anything special in order to install 2 car batteries on my stereo system.?

incase someone has same problem
i disconnected the car battery then took cd out of car 'and unpluged connections' connected it back up again, connected battery and re-entered cd code, and cd player works fine now, no problems in 2 months :-)

I NEED a mono amp. and advice?

I get in my car and turn the stereo on... I listen to music for a couple of minutes and then the stereo completely dies. the display is blank cant turn it on or off but the only way the stereo will come back on is if I turn the stereo off for a while (it isnt on long enough to be overheating!) This is extremely frustrating becuase I drive A LOT! PLEASE HELP ME

the fuse i will change tomorrow,

135.0 db's on the scosche db meter. what am i realy doing, 2 12's he2 in ported box 1000 watts rms amp

as i said it plays fine and then suddenly , no power, stereo dead. but will come on after a while , this has just happen last few days ,
