Question:
I have this 2002 Mercury SUV, I need to know how to reprogram the CD player (if possible). The problem is that it won't eject my CD, therefore the CD is stuck inside and all I can listen to is the radio (the radio works but the CD player DOESN'T!!)
*Is there a way to fix this??*
Please respond fast, the radio stations SUcK here in Houston!!

Can I install a second subwoofer and amp in my car if I already have one set?
You probably need to see a Ford Dealer. I don't think there's a program/code issue here, it's probably mechanical, and most stereo places like Best Buy, etc., don't work with factory units. Why doesnt Worldspace make radios which can work in Cars and othe moving vehicles?
How about buying a new stereo from them? Probably would be better than the factory radio?
good brands for subs and speakers?
Usually there is a small hole near the CD insert that you can put an opened paperclip in to pop out the CD, like on a desktop.how good or bad are power acoustik amps?
Also try simply disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it. Using the negative terminal only (black wire) This will reset the stereo and could fix the issue. Just make sure if your car uses a code that you have it handy. Not sure if Ford's do, but most Japanese cars do.
