Question:
I have a Panasonic CQ-C7203U cd player and two 15" Kicker Solobaric subwoofers and whenever the high, hard bass comes in the cd skips. This does not happen when I'm listening to fm stations only when I play cd's. I had an earlier version of this cd player and it never happened. Should I upgrade my cd player to a better version or another brand?? What cd players are best for my setup?? I'm open to any and all suggestions.

TO MUCH BASS CHECK YOUR AMP MITE BE TO SMALL
Does the 2007 Mercury Mariner have a mp3 hookup?
My friend had the same problem. Are your headlights dimming when this happens too? Most likely it is because you have your subs wired up to the amp at an impedance level for which it is unstable, or weak at. Perhaps you have them wired too high, and the amp is struggling to put out enough wattage for them. My friend's cd player would stop playing for a second or so and then start again until the heavy parts of the songs were done. How do i remove the factory cd player from a 07chevy cobalt?
not enough wattage, get a 480 amp or higher, if you have a factory stock amp which are 200 and below usually, go to the dealership and order a higher wattage one, expensive but will bump, if you dont have a factory amo, go get a American Bass 480 or a Memphis 550 , but the main reason is when the cd player reads the bass notes and then reads the volume its basically sayin i catn take both, and so it skips. so you give it more juice, AKA more wattageMore Questions & Answers ...
