Question:
Do you know someone that could hook up speakers in a car and install an amp for a reasonable price in the St. Louis area. I am trying to improve my sound system in my truck. But needs someone to install the right stuff.
Answers:
Well... Everytime my neighbor starts up his car or unlocks it or something Im not sure, it...?
I suggest going to a audio shop, if you dont already have the componets your going to buy then go there and they will either do an install for free or for a reduced price. But that would be your best bet. If you have a random person do it for you, you get no warranty. Its really not as hard as alot of people make it sound. So in an attempt to save you money if you buy your amps speakers ect. from crutchfield they will send you installation guides and if you have a problem with ANYTHING you can call them and the will walk you thru EVERY single step if need be. Ive saved $$Hundreds$$ of dollars this way.. and you learn something new too.
but if you have bought the stuff already and your afraid to screw something up (which you shouldnt aslong as it has instructions) then make sure you shop around car audio places so you dont get ripped off.
can you hook up 2 sub woofers to your stock radio would that be a good idea would it work good?
but like i said its really not as hard as its made out to be.
If you can get to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, I'll do it for free, lol. I do a very thorough job, including proper installation, tuning and testing until it sounds good for you. I've installed many different stereos in all 5 of my cars (starting with placing additional speakers on stock systems all the way up to my most recent one, replacing a head unit, installing amp and subs, and replacing speakers, havent gotten around to actually drilling/cutting holes for new speakers... yet :)
