Sony and audiobahn?

Question:
iight before i even get it hooked up would it sound good if i mixed a sony xplode class d mono amp 1400 watt total power that pushes 600 watts at one channel at 2 ohms and then a 1200 watt audiobahn peak power that runs at 600 rms at 2 ohms and i need to know if it will sound good for one and if the amp and sub are a good combo and not pushing to much power somewhere

What amp to buy?

yes your fine. just dont overdo the settings on the amp i.e bass boost

What does the term ETR stand for in relation to car stereos?

As far as the power goes, everything is fine. However, if you wanted good sound, Sony and Audiobahn are definitely not the way to go. They tend to be decent, at best. But they're ok for the price they go for (if you're on some sort of budget, they're fine). And if you just want some bass to fill in the music, then its all good.
