Question:
1988 Ford Aerostar van has a control switch box in the back, behind the driver, for passenger to control sound/stations/volume. Am looking for diagram/instructions on how to bypass that control switch and hook stereo up to back speakers? Anyone? And No "I Don't Knows" please. Only shows your immaturity :-) Thank You!

My source for wiring doesn't date back that far. However, you can still do it. Remove the panel covering the rear speakers. Then remove the rear speakers. Look at the wire colors for each and write them down. Don't put the speakers back in yet. Now remove the control switch and find the wires you identified as rear speaker wires. You're going to have to cut these wires and extend them to the radio. Make sure you extend the wires connected to the speakers, not the control panel. Behind the radio, the speaker wires will be in the black plug, not the gray one. If you need further help, please email me.
