Why does my Panasonic cd player skip whenever my subwoofers produce hard bass?

Question:
I have a Panasonic CQ-C7203U cd player and two 15" Kicker Solobaric subwoofers and whenever the high, hard bass comes in the cd skips. This does not happen when I'm listening to fm stations only when I play cd's. I had an earlier version of this cd player and it never happened. Should I upgrade my cd player to a better version or another brand?? What cd players are best for my setup?? I'm open to any and all suggestions.

I had the same probelm once.yes its the cd player.I switched to a top of the line Clarion. Most cheaper cd players will start skipping once you start making good bass.

If you put a bigger fuse in your amp will you get more power?

Sounds like your CD player isn't isolated well enough, and the vibrations from your subs are making it skip. See if there's some way of mounting it (or your subs) so that the housing absorbs vibration better.
