How deep are the 2003 civic sedan front and rear speaker slots?

I have tried crutchfield i know the slots are 6.5" round but for some reason it says the speakers most of the speakers selected will not fit.

that's right. the window comes down right behind the speaker. you can use Polk audio's db series with no prob. i work in car audio and that's what i used in my girlfriends car. they're reasonably priced and sound great! but you could go with anything with about a 2 and a half inch mounting depth.
