I want to buy a great sub but I'm not sure what all the numbers mean? Is the higher the number the better the sub?? Or is it a combination of things? I want a pioneer speaker so if anyone could recommend a nice small one. Thanks, any information would be great or websites??

-RMS watts (ignore the max wattage, its misleading information)..
this will tell you how many RMS watts to get your amp. If you have more than one sub, you simply at together the RMS watts.
-How many voice coils..
this will give you more options on how to wire your subs to achieve a different ohm load from the amp.
-What impedence (ohms) the voice coils are..

well the size of sub normally ranges from 8 ,10, 12, 15 inchesthe rms is the number of watts the sub can hold at normal levels. then there is the peak wattage which is the max watts the sub can hold with everything all the way up.then u have the the db level which is how low the note can get for the sub will respond and how high.the rms and peak watt will help u decide how big of a amp u need

k first of all, i back off from pioneer. the only good thing they made is decks. second, sub sizes range from anywheres liek 8 in to 10,12,15,18in. the bigger the sub, the harder it hits and the louder it is. ur best bet would to go with a 12 in or 15in. just make sure u get an amp with ur subs. try kicker subs. they are awesome.Can someone tell me how i can disable the GPS tracking unit on my truck?
What car do you have? Seriously dont ever spend more money on stereo equipment than your car is worth!Fusion is a great make for subs and amps,pretty cheap aswell,can get these from halfords or motabitz and they tend to fit them free as well.
