ok my bro has his car with 2 10" rockford forgate and there p3s and he has 2 400 watt mono amps wired sepretly so thats 800 total, and i want to have my car sound better because he thinks its impossable..so if i bought the 15" kicker cvr and that is 500 rms and peaks 1000..i want that with a 1000 watt amp, wont it sound better because theres more watts than his?

Keep in mind, wattage isn't all that matters, efficiency, THD (for SQ fans, subs dont normally care if an amp has lots of this), and ESPECIALLY the box are just a few things that play a part in how your subs sound. But short answer: yes, with a good box and a good amp, your setup will kill his.

His 10's will have more of a mid thump where your 15 will get more of a deep rumble. So if you are just trying to out thump him, you will win due to the lower tone the 15" can hit compared to the 10's.

l5 aor l7 will take ur breath away..and if there r two u cannot even think what will happen.if u can power ur speakers with 500rms each fixed in" PORTED BOX"(in ported box u"ll get a lot more bass then ne other encloser)ur system will pound 5 times harder than ur bro sys guarenteed-provided amp is of good brand too.because one weak member in construction can cause a building to fall so dont think of spending on crappy amps.
this way u'll gonna achieve far better spl than ur brother,but if u want purity to fell into ur ears and take u to heaven then just buy one MTX9512 12 INCH power it with 1000watts rms...and dude u wont be able to even stand next to ur window.u will be heared from a mile away.
