I have 2 12 inch alpine type r's. the 500W rms kind. and a sealed box with a 4 farad capacitor. i dont have an am and best buy told me i should get a KAC 9103D, by kenwood it is 900-1300 W rms and it is 1 ohm stable, whatever all that means. so what amp should i get. im into spending about 300 doallars for something very high quality. so i dont know what mono chanell. or whatever that is means but what ever i get i need it to power both my subs to full power. so please help me on what i should buy. and what does a 4 farad capacitor do? and whats the difference between that and a 1 farad one. so please help me. and maybe you could enlighten me on some lingo. like ohm. rms. hz. or anything. thanks alot. o ya! and will my system sound good. like loud bass? you think i would be able to feel it. tell me about it!!

Like I told you before man, get the Alpine its a mono,meaning its a one channel but it will work just fine with two subs, you will need to wire the subs together in either parrell or a series, depending on the ohm load your subs are. Either way will work. I have two type Rs and I have a 1000 watt mono alpine amp and it sounds great.Also what a capacitor does is it takes a lot of stress off your car's electrical system by storing power and spitting it to your amplifier when it is necessary, it can also charge and discharge much faster than a car battery, which is what you need to keep
up with bass. Rule of thumb is one farad per 1000 watts, I understand you have a four farad, this will work just fine. A bit more than you actually need but it will work just fine. You can always use a little extra juice.

you need to tell us if the subs are dual 2 ohms or dual 4 ohms, and i can help you out, and yes with the right box, and amp you will be able to feel it, those will bump, trust me youll be happy with those if you have the right size box
