I have an old school car (let's say '85 a Caprice Classic) and I just adore heavy breathing bass.?

Question:
My question is is there any other way for me to get alot of bass without taking the insulation out of my back seat to let the waves pass through without being held back?

Answers:

What kind of amp do i need for these subs?

If you put enough "OOMPH" in the trunk, this won't be a problem, unless the frame behind the back seat is solid metal. Bass isn't directional and easily passes through soft materials.

How good is Soundstream nowadays?

like sparky said, u should be fine if its not solid metal. however if it is, the only other thing besides removing it, would to be to put ur subs in the car itself.

Help with pioneer head unit?

A seperate independent subwoofer. There are factory built ready to install subwoofers available in the market. A nice bazooka type system is most popular. since its easy to install.

Is there a car stereo compatible with the creative zen vision: M?

Bass will pass through the back seat no problem. Because the trunk is a partially enclosed space, you may actually experience a slight gain depending on the acoustics of your vehicle. Also, many older cars are made from thicker steel. Less flex in the metal is a good thing. The last system I installed in my trunk, I had my sub firing directly at the back of the trunk about 4 inches from the back of the trunk. It was actually louder than facing the sub forwards or upwards, or pushing it away from the back of the trunk.
