Im debating on which amp to buy. im looking at the 500/1 and the kenwood 8103D both are 500W RMS @ 2 ohms but i dont know which is more reliable. is the 500/1 worth the extra money? anyone have any input?

if i were you i wouldnt get either. JL is better then Kenwood. but i think Kenwood Excelon is better then JL. and i think both make good amps, good quality, and both will give you what your looking for, but the Excelon is 1/2 the price as the JL. and there pretty much the same thing. so if i were you, i'd get this Excelon amp, when you pay 2x as much for the JL, all your buying is the name.What do i need for a basic, yet good sounding sound system for my 92 civic?
