Hi-fonics is now owned by Maxonics. Which owns a ton of other brands. Believe me, they are not what they use to be.

JL Audio has consistantly been one of the industry leaders.
They get my vote. But don't buy them from ebay. There are a lot of shady people out there when it comes to JL. Shop around for a reputable dealer in your area.
