my speakers dont tell me wat i need to know?
Look for an amp that's double the watts RMS of one of the subs at the correct impedance (ohms).Since you didn't specify if you have a single voice coil or dual voice coil or the watts RMS, I can't give you an exact answer.

Ok, Heres the real answer. there is no such thing as the perfect amp for the subs. Its a question of efficiency, impedance of subs, correct installation and sound level adjustment. The bigger the wattage of an amp is (RMS), the better its going to sound at lower gains (within reason).
I work at a car audio store & demo ALL of my subs w/ an Audiobahn a5000spl----5000w amp @ 1ohm. I have yet to blow any subs because i know how to properly set levels.

Spend as much as you can afford on the bass amp. (but stick with name brands) This way, you can keep your gain low, and have room to upgrade your subs in the future.

The sound in your car is only gonna sound as good as the worst part. I recommend dynamat as well to keep the sound clean & warm. Also make sure your power & ground are the correct guage for your application.

Why do you kids have to make so much noise? Are you trying to be evil? Are you trying to keep people from sleeping? Don't you realize how much it hurts all your neighbors? What is the matter with you?
I'm just gonna say get the most powerful amp you can afford, usually ones with pretty high RMS wattages. and plug it in to your speakers. Put the amp of 1/2 power and turn it up from there. if the amp is too powerful then you will probably able to tell before your speakers get close to blowing. From there you can set the power level of your amp to get the best out of your speakers
