Back left brake light now working after a radio/speaker installation?
Mono refers to the signal being recorded in only one channel. That means that no matter how many speakers you connect, they will all play the same thing at the same time. Stereo is recorded in two channels. This allows the left and right channels to operate individually. As an example, a recording of a car driving by can seem to move from the left to the right or the other way around, which increases realism. Without stereo, you would hear the car, but it wouldn't move from one side to the other. Listen to some oldies and you'll notice that some instruments are only played through one side, and the vocals through the other.Instead of having all of the sound come out of one speaker, stereo splits the sound in half with left and right sound. It is the ancestor of surround sound.
Is this a good idea in wiring this whoel audio system?
