yes u can make one just be sure it will work best with your sub like a bandpass,vented sealed and so on and make sure to use silicone around all jointsnot there all the same... Wood

im guessing this subwoofer is not high end or powerful so i dont think it would sound any better if you made your own box. plus when you make your own box you could mess something up in the construction and your system could sound like crap. also when you buy a prefab box they are usually carpeted.there is so much more to a speaker enclosure then the average consumer knows. the damping factor of the raw speaker itself (distance the cone travels up and down as music signal passes thru it) determains what size the ''box'' should be you need to go to a professional car audio stereo place that builds enclosures and tell them what you expect your system to sound like and they can steer you in the right direction.
