Where can I get good priced car audio online?
Those subs will not fit into an S-10 regular cab PU, unless you are 5'1" and drive like you have blue hair (chest on the steering wheel). I would look to sell those subs and get shallow/slim versions. JL makes a good sub for your application 10W1V2. I have also heard very good things abou the Pioneer units. Earthquake and Kicker also make good ones.Hifonics brutus amps r they woth buyin?
The most room you would be able to get out of that truck cab is about 1.75 cu. ft. with about 4.5 inches of mounting depth for the subs. If you make a section for the amp on the enclosure, you will probably only have about 1.25 cu. ft. to deal with. Most 10" inch subs don't require more than .6 cu.ft. for a sealed enclosure. Make your own enclosure insted of a pre-fab box.
Ever heard of elemental designs subwoofers?
Normally they give yu the cubic footage required for the speakers. using Length X width X hight You should be able to make a box about 8 or 9 in. deep with the hight of 15 or so and a length of the cab if that doesn't work use a porte box and tune down the amp to your sound prefferencesMore Questions & Answers ...
