Question:
I have a 1994 camaro, and the stock sound system has 2 6x6's in the back and 2 6x6's in the front. I would like to put 2 6x9s in the back, but I wonder about the size. Will I have to cut the hole bigger, or has anyone done this? It looks like the speaker will sit far back enough that I can put the cover back on and no one would know its not stock. But what about where the speaker bolts in?
Where is a good place to get an amp for your car installed? I live in New Jersey?
Sorry to seem ignorant, but I've never messed with the sound system on my cars other then changing the head units. And I've never had a camaro, so I've very unfamiliar with it.

Is ohms in amplifier very important?
Just cut the rear deck so they fit, i am assuming that a 6x6 is a 6.25 speaker and that you can get a template and cut it out. Good call on the 6x9's though, whole lot more bass.the best thing to do is get some pro help. go to a place like pep boys they will give you advice on what to do

2000 Jetta missing radio, could that be why moonroof and windows dont work?
it depends on what size the origenal speaker holse wereHow much would you say this system is worth?
I would personally stick to round speakers. Oval speakers are ok. But round speakers perform better overall.Stick with the stock size. 6x9 usually sound like the have more bass because the are usually mounted in the rear deck. Mounted in the rear deck provides an infinite baffle set-up which works well with any coaxial type speaker. You have no rear deck! A 6" and a 6x9 will sound just about the same in the rear side panels.
Installing aftermarket cd player in altima?
Save your time and money and buy a dedicated subwoofer. Camaros are about the easiest models to make a custom built-in enclosure. Trace the opening in the rear hatch where the T top windows go and cut out an MDF baffle from that trace. Cut holes in the baffle for the sub/s and bolt into the location and seal it.
