How to hook up two 12" 750 watt sups?

well when you are building a box the first thing you need to do is decide how much space you want the box to take up. the other issue is if the box has enough interior volume to make the subs sound the way they should. Most all subwoofers have the recommended box volume in cubic feet, you can find this information on the subwoofers website. Also, you want your sub box to be made of 3/4 inch MDF. MDF means medium density fiberboard, it can be found at home depot or lowes. This web site will explain EVERYTHING you need to know. and its accurate: http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/iseo-r...

Enclosing my box and subs?

Without the right tools, its cheaper easier and better to just buy one! I have built dozens of boxes and there are no benefits to building your own unless you know what you are doing. Since you are clueless, just go to your local audio shop and buy one! You'll thank me later.

What type of amp should I use?

If you have a circular saw or table saw your good to go. You can go with 5/8", 3/4", or whatever fits best for your needs ( 5/8" particle board should be enough, unless your going to be runnin' in the big competitions). Wood caulking and box carpet should be the last of your supplies besides some 1" long wood screws. I hope your good with cutting angles, etc. If your wanting to limit your space then make sure you make it big enough for the sub to fit and try to know what sub your going to be putting in, for enclosure volume compatability. You want your box volume to be within the subwoofer recommendations. You might want to invest in a seal tester, for when your finished making it, you'll know if its sealed well for max. performance, unless your very confident in your work. Or you can have someone test it for you. As for type of wood, i'm not for sure on that. I don't see why you can't use some pine or something. I would double check on that with someone well educated on car audio. I would just go with particle board. Hope this info. helps. Peace. EDIT. yeah you might be better off just buying a prebuilt box. if your clueless, to get the figures on box volume, you multiply your three figures, which are your length, width, and height. then divide that by 1728. i think. that should give you your volume in cu. ft.
