Spilled lemonade on my 99 Avalon stereo.Stopped working.Will it work after it dries or do I need a new one?

1st it got stuck on one station. Then it wouldn't bring out the tape or cd. Now the radio station is still "on" screen but no music. Nothing is working :-(

Your stereo is most likely damaged, permanently. On of Off, there's always power flowing through most electronics in your car. Especially if you turned it on while it was still wet. On the bright side though, you can use this as an excuse to get an aftermarket stereo installed, you'll probably spend more if you try to replace the stock unit.
