How much of a differnece would dynomat make?
For your subs, to each his (or her) own as they say.To answer your question, YES you can move "systems" from one car to another. If you know how (email me if you need help) then it's an enjoyable and easy process to move your amp and sub from one car to another. The sub and amp are independant from you head unit (factory or aftermarket) meaning that you can move your sub and amp without having to worry about how fitment in another car (unless trunk space is an issue).

2) i like the hexagon shape that the new ones have. I'm thinking about getting a pair myself.
Nearly all speakers are 8 ohms impedance so you could take them out of the car and use them on your home Hi Fi if you wished
To answer your very last question: you must have an amp to power your subs. Factory or aftermarket head-units do not have the power to push these subs. The speakers in your doors (mids/highs) are small and made of light duty material, whereas your subs(lows) are large and made from heavier material. This requires much more than your average 50 watt stereo.
*and also for the record, you could hook your car audio components to your home hi-fi stereo system, but it's usually not a good idea. If your home system is too powerful, it'll bust you speakers, or even worse, if you your speakers can handle more than the stereo, it'll bust your stereo.
well my question to u is, y wouldnt u be able to? if u can put them in, u can take them out, its just a matter of installing and uninstalling them
