Where can I connect my remote wire if I'm using a factory deck?

Question:
I'm installing a sub/amp in my 2004 Saturn Ion 2. Amp is powered to the battery in the trunk and the RCA is plugged into a line-out convertor (also in the trunk.)

What is the size of aftermarket car door speakers I can put in a 2006 Chevy Silverado regular cab.?

Where can I connect my remote wire? I used to have it wired to the tail lamp switch but I have blown a fuse with that method. Any other ideas?

Good car drifting music?

I would pull out the deck and run the remote wire from your amp to the "power antenna" wire coming out of the back of your deck, then the power will only go to the amp when the car or the radio is on, not draining the battery, and it shouldn't blow any fuses, if it does, use a larger fuse for your power antenna.

Sony xplod... any advice on this system?

you should have extra fuse spots in your fuse box
