How to hook up a 2 frad capacitor for my car stero system?

I just bought a 2.0 frad capacitor for my car stero system and i can't get it hooked up right, there is insturctions but they are very blury. can someone please tell me how to hook this thing up? i know how to charge it but thats it.lol thanks

I want to buy an amplifier, stereo, and speakers for my 6speaker car. have a question bout inputs and outputs.

first, mount the pwer cap. Next run the positive wire from your battery to the positive terminal of the cap, which is also where the posotive to go to the amp(s) hooks up. MAKE SURE THE FUSE IS UMPLUGGED. Next run the same sized (same as power wire) ground wire to the frame of the car. Next charge the capacitor by using a resistor, by usinge the two ends of it in the fuse section that you unplugged and it will take a few seconds. If theres a remote line for your capacitor hook it in to the same line as the one for your amp remote line.

It connects between the ground and the 12 volt power source. Make sure you observe polarity.

do yourself a favor and rid of the cap it wont do anything except put more strain on your electrical system
