Car cd player still skippin?

Question:
i bought a lens cleaner hoping that it would fix the problem but it still skips, its a pioneer dehp5800mp ive had it for maybe 6 months now, it only happens when i turn the volume up loud when my subs hit. Could it be the subs causing this problem, or is the amp taking so much power from the battery that when it hits it takes power from the cd player for a split second, or do i just need a new cd player?

not power related, the previous person to answer got it right. Your cd player is shaking due to low frequencies vibrating it. If this is a removeable headunit that you installed make sure you bent all the tabs on the bracket that holds your radio. This secures the radio to the dash. Also I would recommend a bracket connected from the back of the radio to somewhere in the dash if you can get your hand there. The only other thing you may be able to do is stick some dynamat on the bottom of the radio to try and deaden some of the sound waves. Good luck!

Where do you have your CD player? Could be the place in your car...maybe try a more stable place first. If that doesn't work, I believe they make CD holders where you can put CD players in where it won't make them as jumpy in your cars that stick to your dash boards, you can get them at Best Buy I think, or any car toys place. I'm not sure what they are called but the sales people will know what you are talking about when you ask them. If those don't work, then I would recommend asking the sales people what they would recommend you doing. Good luck!!

Do your subs rattle the dash any, I would check to see that you have the head unit mounted tightly. I would suggest adding a strap to the back of the unit to stabalize it.
