How can i use the aux input in my scion to play my ipod?

Question:
i bought a 35mm audio cord to plug my ipod to my stereo but it doesn't seem to be working. i plug it in and hear nothing. i was wondering if i need to do something in order for it to play. i turned the aux settings on and i still don't know what to do.

Answers:

Does anyone know if tc sounds are any good in their subwoofer lineup they seem pretty cheap in there website?

Check the contacts on the plug on the cord you bought - make sure it has the same configuration as your headphone plug does - you might have ended up buying a mono cord by accident.

Amp question for cars?

If not, then you might either need a special cable, or there might be something else you are missing (or someone fried the aux input).
