i have one 15: kicker comp and i was told that a smaller box wud be right for it because right now its in a bandpass box i made custom that use to hae 2 12"s in it. i was wondering what shud i do make a new box thats smal or jus leave it in the bandpass, wud it be better to have it to smal or to big?

I would build a new box that is ported, I've heard alot of boxes out there, bandpass doesn't get loud enough, everyone at my local competition had ported boxes and blew away the competition. I would say a box with about 3.5 feet of airspace. Not really small but will make the 15 sound louder than in the small box.Speaker Wire Polarity Question....Need Answer ASAP?
I would recomend a ported box also. In the paperwork that came with the kicker sub, it should tell you the dimensions to make a ported sub box with.i agree go ported all the way and get rid of the bandpass
