Music for my subwoofer?

I am planning on running my speakers through my deck and my subs through the amp of course. If this is a good setup tell me please or if you have any suggestions thatd be great. This costs about $414, Is that expensive? once again i am very new to this.

Hey man, first thing i would like to say is kicker stuff is all pretty good... So you should be good with the subs and speakers. I have never heard of the amplifier, just make sure that it will power your subs good enough. As far as the deck, i have never had good luck with kenwood decks they all suck in my opinion... if it plays mp3s it should be decent... i would go with pioneer personally... check em out. $414 is cheap for a system so dont expect crazy expensive results... I speant more than that on door speakers and a deck, but it would be a decent quality system for the money...

Hey man, nice system choice. This will be a great system for some really good-sounding music, and it will blend very well. First off, the KS series speakers will work just fine with the head unit, and sound really good. The choice of whether or not to go with a pioneer cd player is totally up to u. Now for the subs and amp. The subs you have chosen will work great, but i would recommend using something like the kicker 300.1 or 400.1 which are mono amps, to get the right amount of power to your subs, and make them sound right. They will run at 2 ohms when wired in parallel, so either of these two amps will push just the right amount of power to your subs to make them sound great. it will cost u about $100 more, but its worth it for future speaker upgrading, and its kicker :)

I would change the amplifier to a Hifonics Zues ZX8000 5 channel amp, or a Soundstream XTA 600.5 5 channel amp either one can be had for just under $200. These are much better brands than the power acoustic.infact, they are WAAAAAy better.
