Where do I connect the REM on an amp to a Kenwood Z828 (the stock stereo in a 04 F150 Heritage STX)?

Question:
I need to find a switched 12V power source on my Kenwood Z828 stereo to connect an amp. This would be easy if I had a wiring diagram but they don't give you anything b/c it's a stock part in the 04 F150 STX. Has anyone done this before?

Bmw speakers?

Also, what is the best way to run the power cable from the amp to the battery in that same truck?

What is the difference betwwen a mono amp, 2 channel amp, and a multi channel amp?

if i understand your question right, you need a 12v test light and check you fuse box for a fuse that only lights up the test light when the key is in the on position such as power window, wipers, ect... as for the power wire run it through the firewall where the steering column goes into the engine compartment they usually have a rubber boot there and then run the wire along the door jam under the carpet

Anyone have a VOLFENHAG amplifier?

DON'T USE A TEST LIGHT!!!!

I have a memphis 16st-1000d and i put it on to some 12' kicker cvr's?

While some say they are computer and airbag safe, don't take a chance. Probe the wrong wire and you'll blow the airbag. I don't even trust probing the fuses with a test light. Use a multimeter.
