It's best to load an amp at higher impedances than low impedances as this will run the amp cooler, last longer and sound better.
Looking to get some more mid-bass in my truck?
In this case, you would wire two 2 ohm subs in series to get a 4 ohm laod and you would need an amp that matches the watts RMS power handling of both subs added together.
Oh god, who to go with..still..?
For instance, if each sub is 300 watts RMS @ 2 ohm, you would need a 600 watts RMS amp @ 4 ohms with subs wired like so http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/s...
I need 4 sub and 2 amp don't matter the cost...?

How do I get my mp3 player to play through my car speakers? '07 Eclipse?
these subs are 2 tight for me, but look good though. have a look at the focals or rockfordsCan someone tellme how to put songs for a car sterio in a sd card?
the only difference you will get is in your wiring. you might get a little bit harder bass out of the 2ohm subs if wired right(subjective opinion). but a 2ohm load will also put more stress on the amps and make them work harder. but no matter which ones you are looking at the amps should be the same unless you intend to wire them to 1ohm. but since you are getting two amps it doesn't seem like you are planning on doing that. but like i said, it will be all in your wiring.More Questions & Answers ...
