Why do my headlights dim when my sub-woofers start to hit?

Honestly, I would just look at them. I don't know many people who would replace original speakers with some other type of crap speaker. Aftermarket speakers are easily distinguishable from ones the dealers put in. Easiest way is looking at the surround. 90% of factory speakers are paper surrounds. If yours is, then it is more than likely factory. If not, you may have some aftermarket speakers.

How do I get the back speaker covers off of my 99 Olds Intrigue?

I have this radar detector (cobra XRS 9530) do you think this really works?

Is amp fried, if board is burnt?

First get to the speaker...if you notice wires have been cut and then placed back together or you see signs of welding then those are signs speakers were changed...also lets say its a volvo, under the magnet of the speaker there should be a volvo stamp, sticker or somekinda of proof. i dont know about other companies. Also if its anything other than cardboard its probably an upgrade so you should be happy about that.
