Sounds to me like you need to go buy a box for a 15 inch subwoofer.You may have a 15" woofer, it is what you feed into it that can make it into a subwoofer.

It depends on the brand of the speaker. Not all subs require the same amount of air space. Check with the maker (via website or tech support number) to see how much cubic air space they require for that speaker. You may have to custom build a box for it.10" sub question, sealed ported?
If all you need is a speaker box, I see a lot of that stuff for sale on craigslist. You can see if it will fit you're needs before you buy it. And is a good way to get stuff locally and cheap. As long as you are in a big city that is in the craigslist directory.Good luck with it.
whatever brand ur woofer is (i.e. rockford alpine, etc..) all u have to do is contact that company direct and they actually give u the exact specs on the woofer then u can either build it urself or take it to an authorized audio dealer and they will build it for u, that is what i did and custom boxes are better than prefabs any day!
