How can I instal a new style radio into an old 79 F-150?

Question:
My F-150 has a radio mount with two holes on the left and right side. The new style car radios wont fit because they don't screw into the holes on the left and right side. Is there a way I can install a new style radio? Or where can I find an old radio that would fit that has FM or a cassette player?

Mono amps can use more than 1 channel?.not sure...?

Actually I would leave the stock radio in and make a custom mount and put it inside the glove compartment and control it with the remote. There are many different websites that show you how.

How can i bypass a factory amp in a mercedes 1991 350sdl (becker is factory radio)?

I used to have a '76 Ford and i just took a jig saw and cut out the opening so the radio would fit then i fabricated a mount out of scrap metal it looked like it belonged once i was done with it.
