I have burnt a number of CDR's which used to play OK on my car CD but now the sound breaks up half way through a disc. CD's still play OK on other players - any ideas anyone

It may not be the CD's but the car stereo system itself. There IS a warning on the CDR boxes that warn of a risk that it may not be compatible with all players.where on the internet can I download a different voice for SAT NAV?
The CD Player in my new car sometimes tells me that it's a bad disk (and I'm referring to store-bought CD's) and when I re-insert it, it plays fine.

iv had several cd players and some play everything and some have problems...Try burning them at a slower speed 8X or lower- you may have switched to a higher speed without knowing it. They take longer to burn, but they usually work better.
