The only problem that you will run into is the dimming of all of your lights each time a the base hits. Also your amp will never produce as much sound if it does not have full power. Caps are over rated. I have had many systems in my day and never used a cap a second battery yes and upgraded alt. Just buy the biggest generator you can afford. If you have a super duty truck like a f250, you are all set. but if this is going in a civic you will need to upgrade. Don't waste your money on caps or extra batterys. The only thing an extra batt is good for is reserve current, if you are running with the motor off. Have you noticed the price of caps has dropped by about 40% in the last 5 years? Hmmmm. Every expert has finally figured out how much of a scam they are, not to mention very dangerous. If you get a second battery, you have to mess around with isolators and switchs. plus you will want to upgrade the alt. anyway.
