Question:
this amp(2400 watt) is brand new, today new, and it cuts out. this is the reason I came up with. the power wire I'm using (from my old amp) is only rated for 1500 watts, but I didn't know if that that would make the amp cut out and go into protect mode. I do know that it is not overheating because will only cut off after is been turned up past a ceartain level. any help is greatly appreciated. whoever is right gets 5 points. YEAH!

Does anyone know where i can get a wire diagram for a 1991 mazda 626 radio?
It sounds to me like you are over loading the amp. Are you expecting to much from this amp? Is it capable of driving yoursubs? Is this amp a high end competition amp or something from Wal-mart? Also don't ever just assume it isn't overheating, It easily could be.If it isn't a good amp it might be defective. Not many products made today are made with integrity. Also check your gain adjustment, again you may be demanding more than it can give. Also double check your wiring job. Hope you find the problem.
Does a 2006/7 dodge ram 1500 stereo head unit have rca aux inputs on the back of the unit?
Loose connection? If it's not something obvious like that, understanding that turning it up "past a certain level" would induce overheating, as would the too-small wire.
Digital distribution block set up?
You might have to install it right, to make it work right.
Is the alpine pdx 1.1000 the best amp for 2 type r 12s?
Check the cable connections. What brand for 5x7 speakers will be good to buy?
Check the power wire,it should be warm or hot when the amp is being pushed to its limits(before it shuts off). This would indicate a resistance in the power the amp needs!Use a slightly larger diameter power wire than needed. And you should also hook up a capacitor to your system since there's such a big amperage draw.check to make sure your ground cable is securely connected to a good place on your car's metal.
Which of these two amps would you guys recommend for my subs...?
I have had this problem in the past and the funny thing is that it turned out to be the main fuse going to my amp. You should always replace the fuse with the proper rating or below, right? I did that, I put a 20W fuse in for a 30W fuse and when I turned up the volume, the amp would shut down. Doesn't make any sense to me, but when I replaced the fuse with a 30W rating, the problem went away.Engine Noise from rear speakers?
Check the fuse on the +12v line and on the amp itself...
