Which is better a L slot ported box or sealed box?

Have 2 12" diamond d6 series. want to know which one is a better cleaner sound? i'm familiar with sealed but new to the ported boxes. so if some can explain to me the cons and pros i would appreciate it thanks

if you want clean precise sound then go with a sealed box if you listen to a variety of music then a ported box might be better for you
