Kicker 15"..quick question?

Question:
i bought a 15" kicker comp off of my brother for 50 dollars. I took a 2 12" band pass box and cut a 15" hole in the front of it, looks good.. It is a old school kicker sub (all black and in the middle a little design). He has no clue on how meny watts it can take so what do i do? i wud like to get al i can out of the sub..has anyone had one before ifso do they pound? thanks for the help

YES, they pound, as for how many watts to put on your sub,I would take a 500 watt amp bridge it to the mono and hook up just the one sub and be really happy with what i had

kicker comps can only handle 250 watts rms, at the most, depending on how old it is, get around a 200 watt RMS amp, make sure you look at rms
